This is a wonderful pre-birth preparation series. In these classes you learn about the physical and physiological changes that are occurring in your body during pregnancy. I guide you through the anatomy and a series of movements that help you cope with the aches and strains on your body at the moment, helping you get ready and feel confident about delivery and recovery. Understanding and knowing your body is key for a strong recovery. Great gift for a friend or partner with achy, swollen legs, difficulty sleeping or aches and pains.

Six one-on-one prenatal yoga classes that will prepare the body for the birthing process. These classes will also cover:

  • Understanding the physiological and anatomical changes that occur during pregnancy and the birth to help make informed decisions and reduce birth anxiety.
  • Advice on coping with musculoskeletal aches and pains
  • Finding comfort in your sleep
  • Breath and body-awareness in preparation for labor
  • Kegel exercises
  • Kinesiology taping for gentle pain relief and belly weight
  • How to ease fluid retention and boost circulation

Class times are flexible and can be scheduled as and when or at a regular weekly time slot. If you have scheduled a class time and cannot make it, it must be cancelled within 24 hours of the class or else it will be considered 'used'. The package expires after 90 days and cannot be transferred to someone else once the initial consultation has commenced.
